Welcome to The Regulator. We are a brewery, event space, and pub located in the very heart of Hillsborough, NC. We provide a warm, hand-built environment to enjoy time with family and friends. Our environment is an intentional escape from technology, hurriedness, and other aspects of modernity that so many of us seem to be tiring of.
We are just starting to open our doors after an extensive restoration and renovation process. We welcome you to come say hi as we establish ourselves for what is hopefully a long tenure as Hillsborough’s central village pub.
Whether you fancy a local craft pint, a meticulously made cocktail, or a dram of warm whiskey, you will find it served here along with an appreciation for things handmade, historical, and humane.
